Fixing IDM error | Counterfeit or Blocked Serial Number Latest
Today we will fix this error. IDM has been registered with a counterfeit serial number. Or the Serial Number has been blocked.

First, we will uninstall this version. To uninstall this version, go to the search bar and look for Control Penal.
From here you can view Control penal items by Category, large icons, or small icons. I will choose by category.
Now, under the program, click on Uninstall a Program.
Here, look for Internet Download Manager and double click on that to uninstall it.
Choose full uninstall and click next.
Click on finish and wait for a while to complete the process.
Now, it will ask you to restart or reboot your computer.
So, you must restart your Laptop or computer after uninstalling IDM.
The rest of the procedure will be done after restart.
After restart, we will have to download another version of Internet Download Manager.
The link is given in the description. Go to that link and download the required file.
Since I have already downloaded this file, I will cancel the download. You can follow further steps after downloading this file.
So, here is the file. But before extracting it, we have to do two things.
First, disable or disconnect the internet. And the second, that we have to disable our antivirus protection for a while.
It is because the IDM will be patched automatically. Therefore, it might be detected as a threat.
I am using windows 10. So, let me disable my antivirus protection for a while.
We will turn it back on after the installation is complete.
Now, go to the downloaded file. Rightclick and extract the files. You can extract it using winrar, 7zip, or any other program.
It will ask you for the password. which: solveit dot pk.
To install the IDM, double click on the IDM_Setup file or rightclick on it and run it as administrator.
Now, install the program as shown in the video.
Once the installation is finished. It will show another error that the Trail period had ended.
But don’t worry, we are going to fix it.
Now, go back to the folder. And copy the AIO patcher file. Now, move on to your desktop. Find the internet download manager icon.
Rightclick this icon and from the options, choose open file location.
Rightclick here and paste the copied file here. Click on continue.
Next, you have to rightclick on the AIO patcher file. And run it as administrator.
A little window will pop up. Click on patch.
Just click once and wait. Another window will pop up. Click on patch again.
As you can see, patching is successful. Now exit the program.
Congrats. We are done successfully. Do not update the IDM if any kind of notice appears.
