In this video I unbox and review the Astro A50 headset. For $300 this is a very comfortable headset with great build quality but less expensive headsets are starting to catch up to it on the feature set. Unlike it’s little brother the A40 the mute actually works on these though.

The new Astro A50’s for 2016 are a nice upgrade from its predecessor but it comes at a hefty price. Will this wireless gaming headset meet expectations with the new base station, virtual 7.1 surround sound and crazy long battery life? I have the version for PS4 but there’s also a version for XBOX one. But what do you guys think, are these headsets dope or nope?
